UAW’s Strike, on Day 1, Won’t Hit Most Electric Vehicles
In a limited strike to begin job actions against the Big Three Automakers, UAW has chosen to target three plants that make mostly gas-powered cars
Last night, United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain announced his union would launch a “Stand Up Strike” upon expiration of its existing contract with the “Big Three” Automakers: GM, Ford, and Stellantis.
The contract ran out at midnight.
