Power Company says it has a big budget for EV spending
Xcel Energy, a public electric utility serving parts of eight states, plans to spend hundreds of millions of dollars over the next four years driven by the EV market, it said in a presentation.
Xcel Energy, one of the largest public electric utilities in the U.S., indicated yesterday it would put $780 million through 2028 into EV-related capital expenses, one of the largest utility-based EV spending plans to date.
