Biden Admin says the EV buildout outpaced sales of Electric Vehicles last year
Energy Sec Granholm says the U.S. added 170,000 EV charging stations in 2023, pushing back against digs that the buildout is going slow.
American EV infrastructure grew at a pace even more rapid than sales of Electric Vehicles last year, increasing charging stations by 75 percent year over year.
In an end-of-year pronouncement on electric vehicles, in which she lauded the purchase of 1.4 million new EVs by American buyers in 2023, U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm also dropped this:
