U.S. Sens Warner and Kaine say Henrico County is getting almost $1.5 million for charging stations after Virginia's governor killed an EV battery plant and vowed to fight pro-EV rules.

Months after Virginia’s governor pledged to repeal the state’s decision to ban gas-powered cars by 2035, the state’s U.S. senators say they have brought $1.5 million for new, federally funded EV charging stations for Henrico County, which is part of the Richmond area.
